Inspired by the mythological figure of the Gorgons, GORGO is a performance-concert about female monsters and the subversive power of laughter.
Laughter acts here as a force of transformation and a gateway to monstrosity.

With songs, laughter, tears, screams, coughs and burps, GORGO plunges into cavernous throats, between nightmare and cabaret, on the edge between the horror of fear and the laughable grotesque.

Gorgo is a clown who laughs heartily. She bumps into things, scratches herself. She gorges herself, burrows into caves. He lets himself be overwhelmed by what happens to him. He is an amnesiac. The one who feels what he cannot see, the one who sees what is not there. He is gore, he is go. He is the mouth that splits, he is the slit that laughs.
